An archaeological site for the public

More than twenty years of collective efforts and collaborations were required to transform an isolated excavation into an archaeological site capable of receiving visitors. In this project, scientists and specialists were able to combine knowledge acquisition with heritage protection. It also represents a public site both wanted and managed by the local authorities, within the context of a cultural and economic development policy.
